Loved the short stories. The Bear Walkers were my favourite. Great Story telling
I thoroughly enjoyed this dark and imaginative read. It has memorable characters, evocative writing and the kind of haunting atmosphere that lingers after the book is closed. Highly recommended to anyone who loves gothic stories with heart.
A compelling blend of mystery, folklore and the supernatural. The story rewards close attention, but it is also wonderfully readable, with tension that keeps the pages turning. The ending was unexpected, earned and deeply satisfying.
The setting is so vivid that I could almost feel the cold air and hear the house settling around me. Every chapter adds another layer of unease without sacrificing character or plot. An immersive, polished and genuinely chilling book.
This story drew me in slowly and then refused to let go. I especially enjoyed the careful clues, the sense of an older world beneath the present and the satisfying way the pieces came together. Atmospheric fiction at its finest.
